Outside of the officeI was born, raised and currently live in Stonington, CT, with my wife of 25 years, Tanya, and our two children. My family has built a 30-plus acre “Gentleman’s Farm” in Stonington and stay very active supporting individuals with special needs. We have been recognized for our community service (most notably by President Obama’s administration) and have donated, over the last 10 years, hundreds of volunteer hours, over $100,000 to various organizations and co-founded "Inclusion – A Sylvestre Foundation.” We are currently building a center to support individuals with disabilities, called “Project 101,” in Pawcatuck.
